The Ola S1 X range comes in 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh battery variants, catering to customers with different range requirements. Ola claims the S1 X will offer a lower cost of ownership, coupled with an 8-year/80,000 km complimentary battery warranty.

According to the company, the S1 X scooters will begin deliveries starting next week. The 4 kWh variant offers an IDC-certified range of 190 km, the 3 kWh variant 143 km, and the 2 kWh variant 95 km. All variants come with a 6kW motor, enabling a quick 0-40 km/h acceleration of 3.3 seconds in the 4 kWh and 3 kWh models, and 4.1 seconds in the 2 kWh version. Top speeds range from 85 km/h in the 2 kWh to 90 km/h in the higher variants.

Notably, the S1 X features a physical key, unlike the keyless operation of Ola’s previous models. The scooters also offer three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports – for the rider to choose from.

Alongside the S1 X launch, Ola Electric has also announced new pricing for its existing scooter lineup. The S1 Pro is now available at Rs 1,29,999, the S1 Air at Rs 1,04,999, and the S1 X+ at Rs 84,999.

To further enhance the ownership experience, Ola Electric is offering an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for the entire scooter range. Customers can also opt for an add-on warranty to increase the mileage limit up to 1,25,000 km at a starting price of Rs 4,999. The company has also introduced a 3kW portable fast charger accessory, priced at Rs 29,999.

Ola Electric also shared a significant milestone, revealing that the company has registered over 5,00,000 scooters (as per the VAHAN portal) in under 2.5 years. This underscores the growing demand for the brand’s electric scooters in the Indian market.
